Webannealing atmosphere in solid-state dewetting of thin metal films have been reported in the literature. It is known that mass transport during dewetting can proceed along various paths, such as free surfaces [16], GBs [17] and interfaces [18]. In the presence of surface adsorbates the relative importance of different diffusion paths may change. WebThe influence of helium pressure on the mechanisms of diffusion of the He-filled nanobubbles in fcc Al is investigated by the classical molecular dynamics. It is shown that at pressures <20 kbar gas suppresses self-diffusion, while the concentration of adatoms, rather than their mobility, plays a key role.
