It actually spawns quite high in the sky so it is advised to camp just below the Great Worms from Beyond, a little under the highest point of the Shadow-Pan wall viewable to the west. It’s to stop you flying too high so that you can actualy be engaged in pvp, however, the worms have such a short range that they are useless anyway.
WebHe spawns very high up, near the Great Worms from Beyond - if you're in the right spot you won't need to move to get the tag. I did not move at all, I had 11 stacks of Great Worm's Foul Stench when I obtained the mount. You can't tame the mount in druid flight form.
