After some searching an early 327 block was out of the question price wise and I came into a large journal block with standard bores and a (based on my research) forged 1130 crank. My question is can the rod journals on that crank be turned down enough to give me some h-beam rod options? .

Far as I know, they were only used on 275 hp 327s in 1968 only. 67 and older was small journal. And all the 2 bbl 327s in 68-69 were cast not forged.
